My name is Parker. I’m a first-year pediatrics resident.
My Background
In 2019, I earned my B.S. in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences from Michigan State University. One year later, I enrolled at A.T. Still University. In the spring of 2024, I matched into pediatrics and graduated with my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
My Finances
Despite recently graduating medical school, I have been poor my entire life. I’m a first-generation graduate of both college and medical school. Growing up, my parents worked hard, but we just barely scraped by each month.
My Goals
While it would be nice to monetize this site and have a side-income, I’m hoping to use this site to help out other people. Ideally, these would be other residents or med students, but I hope anyone can get something out of my blog.
